Junior Explorers is our children’s ministry to lads and girls who are in infant and junior schools aged 4-11.

The children have a great time in their own service which runs alongside the main Church service and are looked after by an amazing team of teachers and helpers.
Their time together consist of a wide variety of activities including games, songs, stories and teaching, Prayer, quizzes and craft work all prepared with the aim of bringing the love of God through Jesus Christ to them.
It is very clear just how much the children love their time together as they have so much fun, and they have a short part in the main service. They are also presented with stars and rewards for their work.

Please note too that children with special needs are welcome.

The Junior Explorers room is upstairs in the Church. The children spend part of the time in church with their parents in the main service and are then taken to their room for their service by the teachers and helpers. They are then brought down by the teachers and helpers to meet up with their parents at the close of the service.

All Junior Explorers staff have been fully DBS checked and are first aid trained.

All Children aged 5-11 years old are welcome to come along to our free Messy Church events They are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month 3:45-5:45pm.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Messy Church session this evening. Our session was based around 'Jesus is the light of the world'. For our craft activities the children made lanterns and candle holders. Pastor Derek and the children played a matching game, when we remembered Harvest and all that God provides for us. Thank you to all who came along and to our fabulous volunteers.

Sunday School Teachings

Leona led todays session for Sunday school, they also had 'Engage' Youth Group join them. Today, the children and young people listened to the story about Noah and the Ark. The children demonstrated their knowledge by answering questions and were also given the opportunity to ask questions. At the end of the session the children began to paint this large poster of a rainbow and a cross. The rainbow to remind us of God's Promise to never flood the earth again and the cross to remind us that Jesus died on the cross to give us the greatest gift of the forgiveness of our sins.
